“Vintage has been my passion since I was 13 years old.”
What was it like working with Creations of LA on this shoot for Level Shoes?
LA is one of the most talented individuals I have had the pleasure of knowing. I have been following his work for a long time and have always admired what he does. It was truly an honour to collaborate with him on this.
You’ve previously worked at Saint Laurent and Givenchy. Today, you are running your own atelier and creative office in Paris called Neutre. What can you tell us about the work you do now?
Yes, I have been working with many designers. My passion is to assist young entrepreneurs in pursuing their dreams and helping them achieve their designs. My creative studio has evolved into a hub where designers can come together, collaborate, and share contacts.
One of your passions is to upcycle deadstock and vintage fabrics. Does this inform your style and approach to design?
Vintage has been my passion since I was 13 years old. I have always enjoyed wearing vintage clothing, as I believe giving a second life to garments is essential. Customising pieces to make them unique and wearing clothes that have already stood the test of time is a testament to their quality.
We hear you have a special love for designing sunglasses. What makes a great pair of shades?nd Givenchy. Today, you are running your own atelier and creative office in Paris called Neutre. What can you tell us about the work you do now?
Yes, my initial love while attending design school was accessories, particularly sunglasses. I began designing for several brands and had the opportunity to work with Marc Lebihan, one of the leading sunglasses retailers in France, known for their fashion-forward approach. The key elements of a good pair of sunglasses are the quality of the trims and materials used, as well as the comfort they provide when worn. Additionally, I am excited to announce that I will be launching my own brand soon.
