Boots. The AIDA model is definitely on trend, in soft suede with a golden chain accessory. We started the ankle chains trend a few seasons ago....
What inspired you both to create the brand?
We are inspired by a feminine woman - the shoe is an accessory but doesn’t overcome your outfit. It’s chic and delicate. For us the shoe is usable on all occasions with jeans but also with an evening dress.
What can customers expect from Alevi?
A trendy shoe that maintains its identity with excellent workmanship quality.
Contemporary designers that you’re loving right now?
Bottega Veneta - they did a great job in terms of clothing and accessories. And Prada with the arrival of Raf Simons - the SS21 show was truly wonderful.
How do you feel about the Middle East fashion scene?
Women of the Middle East have always fascinated us. We often consider inserting materials or accessories that may appeal to your market. It is important that they find themselves in our style. Women in the Middle East are among the most feminine in the world and they love the attention to details as we do.
Suggestions on how to create a Middle East look with your shoes?
Shoes have always been a form of expression wherever you are in the world. For the Middle Eastern woman who shows less legs but expresses their individuality with the accessories they wear, we have more fun because they are daring in their fashion sense. Bold colours and higher heels while never compromising on comfort. The women have no problem wearing their glamorous shoes whether with casual jeans or for formal dinners. Alevi shoes have that flexibility.
